TuJu app features
Navigation and arrival time, tolls, traffic, live CCTV, rest stops, emergency contacts, and a link to MyJalan. Android 2.0 adds chargers, roadblocks, saved places, and a parked-car pin.
Navigation
At the 26 November 2025 launch, Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi described precision navigation: the route, the distance, and an estimated time of arrival. That is the core. The August 2026 Play notes add voice search, toll announcements along the route, and a claim of smoother turn-by-turn prompts. Android 2.0, briefed in October 2026, adds saved destinations and a pin for where you parked.
What the launch did not promise, and what testers later failed to find, is lane-level guidance through Klang Valley interchanges. Hold the feature list and the review in your head at the same time.
Traffic and cameras
Traffic is supposed to come from LLM's traffic monitoring centre, highway operators, checked community reports, and roadside devices. The product site and the Works Ministry's launch note both say this, in slightly different mixes. Live CCTV is part of the same idea: look at a selected camera instead of trusting a coloured line you cannot see.
Cameras are at selected sites. A missing camera is not a bug, and a black frame is a failed feed. How to read both is on the traffic page and the CCTV page.
Stops, fuel, chargers
From the first release, TuJu has been a directory of R&R areas (Rehat dan Rawat), fuel stations, food, and EV chargers along the highway. Android 2.0 widens that with a charger directory called out again at the October briefing, plus local points of interest and roadblocks. Use it to choose a stop, then confirm the facility when you arrive.
Toll figures sit next to this. They are for planning. Paying inside the app was described on 22 October 2026 as a hope, without a date. Details are on the tolls and rest stops page.
Emergency and reports
The app carries an SOS path to the concessionaire on the highway you are using, plus numbers for LLM, the operator, and insurers. The minister described it as a fast emergency-assistance platform. It does not replace 999.
TuJu is also wired to MyJalan, the Works Ministry app, as the tolled-highway piece of that system. The link is for reporting damaged pavement, signal faults, and similar defects. It is how operators want field reports, and it feeds the analytics the minister described: traffic patterns and high-risk spots. It is the wrong form for a crash that is still happening. See emergency help and MyJalan.
What testers did not find
SoyaCincau's 22 October 2026 drive did not find speed-limit warnings, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, or a live traffic layer they could use. They also saw raw HTML where a turn instruction should have been, and Android and iPhone builds that did not look like the same product. LLM said that same day it was reviewing navigation accuracy after the surge.
So the feature list above is what has been announced. The missing list is what one detailed public test failed to see while the service was overloaded. Both belong in a decision about whether TuJu is your only guide for a complicated exit.
