When the TuJu app will not work
After the download surge on 22 October 2026, the highway authority said TuJu was unstable and that navigation complaints were being reviewed. Start here if the app crashes, loops on login, or shows nonsense on the map.
The surge outage
On 22 October 2026 the Malaysian Highway Authority said TuJu was suffering technical disruptions after a sharp rise in users. The rise followed the prime minister's remarks the day before, suggesting people consider a locally built navigation app. LLM said it was working with Prosignal Consortium to find the cause, restore stability, and raise capacity. It also said complaints about navigation and route accuracy were part of the work, not a separate issue it was ignoring.
If the app will not open, spins, or times out, update it in the store, try Wi-Fi, then mobile data, then wait. Retrying every ten seconds does not add capacity. A festival morning is when this will happen again if the fix is only temporary. Have the highway signs, and a charged phone that can still make an ordinary call, as the plan that does not depend on the server.
Login loops
The iPhone 1.5.4 notes in November 2025 already claimed a login fix, and the October 2026 test still had to sign in with Google, Apple, or email before the map would navigate. If one method loops, try another, with automatic date and time turned on. A surge can make a healthy account look broken because the account service is the bottleneck.
Details and the wording of the permission screen are on the login page. This website cannot reset the account. The operator's address is feedback@prosignalconsortium.my.
Bad instructions
Three patterns were public during the surge. The voice repeats "keep straight" or "merge" with no junction name. The map draws a straight line that ignores the ramps. The instruction area shows raw HTML, angle brackets and all. Update the app in case you are on a build that has since patched the HTML bug. If the new build still does it, do not decode the HTML and do not follow the straight line. Follow the gantry.
Screenshot the fault when you are parked, note the version, and send it to the feedback address. A report that says "navigation is bad" is harder to fix than a report that shows the HTML, the time, and the interchange.
Location drift
Allow precise location while you are navigating. A phone in a mount with a clear view of the sky behaves better than a phone in a pocket under a toll canopy. Multi-level roads and tunnels will still slide the dot. Give it a few seconds after you exit a tunnel before you act on a sudden "make a U-turn".
If the dot is stuck in the wrong city, toggle location off and on, then restart the app. If it is stuck for everyone, that is the outage, not your handset. Check a camera or simply look outside.
Tell the operator
LLM asked the public to be patient and said further updates would come through its own channels and TuJu's. The feedback address published in The Star's report of the statement is feedback@prosignalconsortium.my. Include platform, version, what you expected, and what you saw. Do not send that email while you are driving.
For a road defect rather than an app defect, use the MyJalan link once you are stopped. For a crash, ignore both and call 999.
