Download the TuJu app

TuJu is free on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Use those listings. This page is the install path, with the version picture as it stood on 22 October 2026.

Official stores

TuJu is published by the Malaysian Highway Authority, Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM), together with Prosignal Consortium Sdn Bhd. Their product site is tuju.my. The buttons above open the live store listings. If some other page offers a "TuJu app download" as a file you save yourself, leave it.

Google Play lists the Android app as package tuju.my, developer line "Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia & Prosignal Consortium". The App Store lists TuJu under id 6463124230, provider Prosignal Consortium Sdn Bhd. Both are free. The tagline used by the operators is "Teman Perjalanan Anda", your travel companion.

Android

Install from the Play listing for tuju.my. A Play tracker recorded version 2.0.4, updated 3 August 2026, at about 40 MB. During a surge, a patch can land after a tracker updates, so read the version string on the Play page itself before you tap install.

The Play "what's new" note attached to that August update mentioned faster maps, smoother turn-by-turn navigation, toll announcements on the route, voice search, a refreshed design, and bug fixes. The content rating on the tracker is Everyone. Play does not publish one minimum Android version in the public summaries we checked, so the phone's own Play page is the requirement that matters.

Android is also the platform that received TuJu 2.0 first. The extra pieces in that release, including accident notes, EV chargers, saved places, and a parked-car pin, are described on the version 2.0 page.

iPhone

The App Store listing requires iOS 16.6 or later and is for iPhone. There is no separate iPad app in that listing. The snapshot we checked showed a download of about 39.5 MB, language English, and an age rating of 4+. The same snapshot had reached No. 1 in Navigation in Malaysia, with 107 ratings averaging 2.6. Charts and averages move quickly in a surge. Look at the live listing.

Apple's location disclosure on the listing says the app may use your location even when it is not open, which can drain the battery. If you do not want that, set location to While Using after you install, then check Settings again. More of the data picture is on the location and data page.

Which version you get

On 22 October 2026, LLM's operations and maintenance director, Mohd Shahrir Amin Ahmad, told The Edge that version 2.0 was out for Android, and that the iPhone release was expected by the end of October once App Store testing finished. Malay Mail, writing up the same round of briefings, said the iPhone build would likely land by year-end. The public App Store version history still showed the 1.5 line, most recently 1.5.5 on 25 November 2025, which fits a 2.0 build that had not shipped to iPhone yet.

Check the version number in the store, not either date. If your iPhone still shows 1.5.x, you have the older build: navigation, tolls, cameras, rest stops, and emergency contacts, without the 2.0 extras.

First launch

On the iPhone build tested in October 2026, TuJu asked for a login before navigation opened. The choices were Google, Apple, or email. Have a connection for that first sign-in. The steps, and what to do when the screen loops, are on the login page.

After you are in, set a destination only when the car is parked. Then look at the toll, one camera, and the next rest area before you join the highway. The full order is on how to use TuJu. If the app will not open at all, the outage notes match what LLM said on 22 October 2026.
